Fleur of England

Fleur of England is a luxury design house out of....wait for it....Britain.  Their focus is intricately beautiful designs with a flawless finish.  Their looks are absolutely stunning.  I'm in love with them all, but the Heiress might be my absolute favorite.

Finally, here is a short video for their Jasmine collection.  It is absolutely stunning.

Fogal Spring/Summer

One of my favorite hosiery brands not named Wolford, has already begun rolling out its Spring/Summer hosiery line for 2015.  Not a huge fan of Winter, particularly since the Polar Vortex arrived, I'm fine with looking forward to the Spring.

Here's a look at what's been rolled out so far.  I think the Dareen are my favorite, since their detail is so unique...

Latest from Fortnight

As you may be aware, I am absolutely obsessed with Fortnight.  When I brought this blog back, I dedicated my first real post to this brand.  Fornight makes fit and comfort the focuses on design, and also realizes that sexy doesn't have to mean minimalist.  Longline bras, full back panties, as well as high waists are always on offer from this brand.  When lingerie is done this well, part of the seduction is in what's hidden...not just what's revealed.

Review: Marie Jo Avero Heart Shape Padded Bra and Hotpants

Up for review today is two items from the Avero set from Marie Jo.  This lingerie design house boasts that the Avero collection is the "grand dame" in the lingerie world.  Coming from Europe, Belgium specifically, that is no small talk.  But it doesn't take much exploration of this line, or the Marie Jo brand in general, to figure out that they have every intention of backing it up.  Marie Jo was born out of the existing lingerie brand, Prima Donna, with the goal of, not only creating lingerie with more cutting edge designs in mind, but also taking lingerie engineering to another level.

The Avero Heart Shape Padded Bra is an excellent example of just that.  While, like all padded bras, the goal is to create a lift and separation, the difference here is the sort of wavy line created by the way the top of the cup is cut.  While it looks good, the purpose here is to actually create and more contoured fit for the wearer, instead of simply an uplift.  It creates a much more custom fit and feel (as well as look) than the average padded bra.  It also helps the bra mold to your body better and disappear under clothing.  If you're looking for more than just lift, this is an excellent place to start.  The amazing part is, all of this look comes with no comfort sacrificed.  This is a great feeling bra:  comfortable, lightweight, and can go all day without digging in or squeezing anywhere.

But if you think that "functional" most often means not necessarily good looking, this line is certainly the exception.  Coming in a variety of colors (I chose purple), the surface of the cup is done in geometric shapes, using different tones of the same color and meet in the middle with a daisy design, as well as a bow.  Up along the front of the straps, the daisy design continues, creating a beautiful feminine look and detail.  Finally, as if there wasn't enough functionality, the straps can be adjusted from a regular bra, into a racerback (criss-cross) or halter-top detail.  Between the adjustable straps, and the cups that are designed to disappear under clothing, this bra can be worn with just about any top imaginable.  It could certainly be the most functional bra you own.

The matching hotpants (you could also select a thong, G-string, bikini, low-rise bikini, or brief) are mid rise and done in the same geometric pattern as the bra.  They are seamless and also designed to not show under clothing.  On both sides, up the front of the panty, are two rows of the same daisy pattern that is done on the bra straps.  They have a cheeky back, and a satin trim.  Just as the bra, they are incredibly stylish and comfortable.

If you're still searching for that perfect bra, this set, or perhaps some other from this designer, should certainly be checked out.  No designer puts more effort into creating a bra than Marie Jo.  Their website, is full of bra tips and information.  It is definitely worth checking out.  Finally, they have a search tool that will help you look up where they are selling Marie Jo products in your area.  It even rates each boutique as to how much quantity of their products it carries.  You owe it to yourself to try one of their bras.

You can thank me later...

Corsetry from Kiki de Montparnasse

I talked yesterday about the latest fashion lingerie from Kiki de Montparnasse.  But I also wanted to point on the outstanding line of corsetry this designer also offers.

I don't often post about corsetry, but Kiki de Montparnasse has such an impressive and extensive line, that I did want to dedicate a post to just that.

Hopefully you agree...

Fashion From Trasparenze

While I admit I've pretty much become a Wolford Satin Touch 20 guy, to the end, at this point, I do love whenever new styles come out from Italian hosiery designer, Trasparenze.  They always have an exciting line of fashion pantyhose and stockings, with each new season, and I am always excited to see what's new.

Here are my favorite looks from the current line:
